Indica Academy is providing a full grant to one individual for the upcoming Gallant Maravar Bhoomi Heritage Tour organized by Mystical Palmyra.
Ruled by the Pandyas and the Cholas and later by the brave Maravars, with a vibrant Muslim population, Rameshwaram presents a unique kaleidoscope of History, Art, Culture, Cuisine and Nature. This tour will include visits to temples towns such as Rameshwaram, the royal palace of the kings of Ramnad and temples such as Tirupullani. You will also see beautiful hamlets such as the Uthra Kosa Mangai, famous for it’s Shiva temple, the lush-green mangroves of Karangadu and the Rameshwaram sea-shell factory. You will also have a chance to visit the Manamadurai Ghatam centre and also see the handwoven sarees of Paramkodi.
