Indic Academy and Vedic Indian Psychology Research and Application, Department of Clinical Psychology, National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (VIPRA, NIMHANS), Bangalore are happy to announce One Day Annual VIPRA Symposium on Indian Psychology for Health and Well-being to be held at  NIMHANS, Bangalore , on 19th March, 2020.

Indic Psychology has been a treasure trove of insights for mental health, with some popular ideas in Psychology tracing their origins in ancient Indian texts and traditions.

This Symposium will provide an overview of important concepts of Indian Psychology, enable exchange of perspectives regarding its application in a variety of settings and deliberate upon current research and future directions in this area.

Dr. Jyotsna Agrawal, Prof. M. P. Sharma, Dr. Gitanjali Narayanan, and Dr. Nithya Poornima from the NIMHANS and Dr. Nagaraj Paturi from Indic Academy’s Inter Gurukula University Center form the organizing team for the Symposium.
